LOCATIONS
DEPTFORD OLD POLICE STATION
Risk Assessment/Safety issues:
- The first safety issue would be that the main hall room on site has an old, run down ceiling that may not be stable. This means that the ceiling would have a possibility of collapsing. To avoid this, nothing will be attached to/or hung from the ceiling. |

ROYAL ARSENAL RESIDENTIAL (WOOLWICH)
Contact Number: 020 8316 4126
Site Address: 6 Building 46, Marlborough Road, Royal Arsenal, London, SE18 6TA
Filming Permission:
Electricity Supply: There would only be access to using an electricity supply if we enter the building, however, we do not need to enter the actual buildings in the residence to film.
Access to Parking: There is a big parking space for cars but could be possibly only be for residents of the residence.
Toilets: There is an on-site bar that has access to toilets where we would be able to use them.
Food: There are restaurants 5 minutes away from the residence on the high street if we wanted to access some food.
Risk Assessment:
-One main factor is the River Thames, the wall to the river is not very high which means someone could easily fall over. To prevent this, we will all be very cautious of ourselves and our equipment, if we need shots of the river, we will wear the camera around our neck and hold the tri-pod firmly to prevent them going over if there happened to be a sudden gust of wind.
-Another factor is the dampness of the bridge, it also happened to have small elements of moss growing from the wood which made it extremely slippery. To prevent any accidents or injuries, we will wear the right footwear with good grip as well as only walking, if we run around, there is a high chance of us falling and hurting ourselves, or even breaking the equipment.
-The floor is very rubbly and stoney, this makes it very easy for someone to trip over or have someone misplace the tri-pod where is would end up falling and breaking, especially if we are filming during night time. This can be easily prevented by using a torch to guide us and walking cautiously.

BECKENHAM PLACE
Site Contact Info:
Number: 020 8650 2292
Site Address: Beckenham Hill Road, Beckenham BR3 1UH
Filming permission: Beckenham Place Park Mansion and its surrounding areas (the park and woods) are free for the public to visit and film in
Lighting: The lighting on this site during the night will be low-key and enhance the creepy, scary aspect of the trailer. In most horror films large, old houses are frequently used as there is an underlying idea that there are ghosts or old tales surrounding the houses. We will use this location to shoot scenes when characters are running away or are lost within the house.
Space: This location is very good for spacing as there is so much of it, the fact that the area is so big insinuates that characters are more at risk of getting lost or in more trouble. Also, as the house is so big as well as its surrounding areas, we will be able to film without any issue of members of the public getting in our way.
Risk Assessment/Safety issues:
-One safety issue would be that the masonry on the outside of the mansion did have a sign saying that it was unstable, therefore there is a risk of it falling and injuring a visitor. To avoid this we will not be going near any areas that appear to be dangerous or that have signs saying danger.
-Another issue is that there is a large car park at the front of the house, this means that cars will be driving through and people need to be careful and vigilant while entering and exiting the premises. We will therefore, watch closely to check if any cars or vehicles are coming onto the site.
-There is also a risk of slipping over and injuring yourself if the floor is wet as you can see in the image, it had been raining therefore people need to be safe and walk to the mansion rather than run or mess around when going to the entrance.

Risk Assessment/Safety Issues: At Erith Yacht Club there were many safety issues for example: - There were many tanks with highly flammable warning signs on them, to prevent anything dangerous happening with this we will not go near these and we will also night use any fire or lighting instruments. -There were signs on the entrance gate saying "infectious disease prevention" and "rabies prevention", to prevent contracting any disease we will not bring any animals or touch any animals that we see and we will wash our hands when we leave as well. - Furthermore, the building has a balcony high above the ground which could let someone fall over the edge. To stop this we will not go too close to the edge and be careful. - There was also a road going towards the entrance which we will need to walk up to get to the Yacht Club, we will be vigilant and safe, so that we do not to get run over by any vehicles. |
- Also, the actual building is on top of the water, we will not go near the water to prevent any drowning. There were a set of stairs going up to the building, this is a hazard as someone could trip and fall up or down them. We will be careful when going up and down these stairs to stop anyone falling and injuring themselves. |
